If you're a video slot fan in Malaysia, Moon Princess is almost certainly a name you've come across. Ever since it became available on the 40hp, this game continues to attract an overwhelming following from players across the country — from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, many have already experienced the magic of these three captivating princesses. So what makes Moon Princess stand out from the hundreds of other slots on the market? Let's take a closer look.
Moon Princess is a 5×5 grid video slot featuring an All Ways Pay system, meaning there are 3,125 ways to win on every spin. This sets it apart from traditional slots with just a handful of fixed paylines. Here, you never have to worry about missing a combination simply because symbols aren't on the right payline — as long as matching symbols appear consecutively from left to right, it counts as a win. This mechanic alone makes Moon Princess far more exciting than conventional slots.
The three main characters — Princess Moon, Princess Star, and Princess Love — are far more than visual decoration. Each one carries a unique power capable of turning your fortunes around in an instant. Princess Moon is arguably the fan favourite among players 40hp for her ability to "rescue" a near-losing spin by transforming symbols and awarding a free re-spin. Many players have experienced the moment where the grid is almost empty with no wins in sight, only for Princess Moon to appear and instantly turn everything into a profitable row of matching symbols.
Princess Star is the queen of multipliers. When she activates her power, Wilds scatter across the grid and each one carries a multiplied value. This means an otherwise ordinary spin can suddenly turn into a win several times larger than expected. Players who play at 40hp have reported experiences where a single spin at RM 2 yielded winnings of over RM 200, all thanks to Princess Star's power.
Princess Love completes the trio with a longer-term strategy — she clears low-value symbols from the grid and replaces them with premium ones. While her impact may not be as immediately dramatic as the other two princesses, her true value shines through in the following spins, when the grid is stacked with high-value symbols that are far more likely to form big winning combinations.
The Trinity Bonus is the pinnacle of the Moon Princess experience at 40hp. When all three princesses appear in the same spin, Trinity Mode is activated — and this is the most thrilling moment in the entire game. The combined power of all three princesses is unleashed simultaneously, triggering a win explosion that can reach a maximum multiplier of 3,375× your stake. Imagine betting RM 5 per spin and winning RM 16,875 in a single Trinity Mode — this isn't a tall tale; it's something that has already happened to players 40hp in Malaysia.
Technically speaking, Moon Princess has an RTP of 96.51% — significantly higher than the slot average on most other platforms. A high RTP means the game returns better value to players over the long run. That said, it's important to understand that Moon Princess is a high-volatility slot — wins may not come frequently, but when they do, they tend to be substantial. This is what makes every session so full of suspense and excitement.
